ISA European Office Announces Rockwell Automation as a Technology Partner
Eindhoven, The Netherlands (8 July 2010) -- The International Society of Automation (ISA) announced Rockwell Automation as its newest Technology Partner today. The partnership was unveiled at the European office of Rockwell Automation in Kempen, Germany. Rockwell Automation is one of the world’s largest companies dedicated to industrial automation and technical information.

ISA Technology Partners are leading manufactures who make their resources, products, and expertise easily available to automation professionals who use or have interest in the ISA-88 and ISA-95 standards.
ISA-88 is the international standard that helps manufacturers realize flexibility in their manufacturing processes. The standard consists of models and terminology for structuring the production process and equipment contol. ISA-88 can be applied in fully automated, semi automated, and even in completely manual production processes.
ISA-95 is the international standard for the integration of enterprise and control systems. ISA-95 consists of models and terminology that can be used to determine which information must be exchanged between systems—for sales, finance, and logistics; and for systems for production, maintenance. and quality.
